The Journey So Far
Early Days
I've been a gamer for as long as I can remember, and I've racked up alot of hours on both console and PC!
My gaming journey started with the classic consoles of the 90s like the Mega-drive, Super Nintendo, N64, and Playstation.ย
I spent a crazy amount of time with my brother playing games like Sonic, Zelda, Streets of Rage, and Mario & Luigi. These games hold a special place in my heart, as they were a massive part of my childhood.
Professional Life
I'm 32 now, but throughout my twenties I worked in various professional roles spanning Procurement, Sales, Customer Service & Logistics across multiple industries.
As I got older I realised that I was working my butt off for other people's passions and dreams, and the drawbacks & stresses started to outweigh the benefits.
After becoming disillusioned with the corporate life and a fair bit of soul searching, I decided to pour my own passion and love of gaming into something which can benefit other gamers and also allow me to pursue something I really care about.
This was the start of Outshine Gaming.
The Brand
With a solid business plan & backed with a start-up loan, I went all-in on creating a brand that delivers the best products available in the market.
What makes us different is our commitment to giving you the best customer service & after sales support. We want to make your experience with us kick ass!
I started the business on my own, storing all our products and operating out of a shipping container. This was great when we were small as it allowed me full control over orders to make sure everything was done right!
I soon realised this was not sustainable when the business started to grow, and there was just not enough time in the day. I was doing EVERYTHING, from handling customer service enquiries & fulfilling orders to product design and sourcing.
We moved our order fulfilment & inventory management over to a very carefully selected logistics company who we have very close and open ended communications with. This way I get to maintain my high standards of quality but allowing for us to scale and utilise more staff members.
We now have alot of people helping the Outshine Gaming brand operate and deliver the highest of standards in every department.
